I believe this is a result of zoning my heaters better with the Herschel IQ units. Last year the electricity bill went down by about a quarter, and this year about 10% further on last year. In addition to that I switched my energy tariff to a simple standing charge with a variable charge on the bill. Eventually, I ripped all those out and replaced them with additional Herschel Infrared heating panels, with the initial ones being a Chinese import. Initially I didn’t see the reductions in energy bills as I was running parallel storage heaters on economy 9 tariff. I have been using infrared heaters for about 4 years now.
